WIN and GWP cooperation for water integrity

The Global Water Partnership (GWP) and the Water Integrity Network (WIN) will closely work together in the coming years to help reduce corruption in the water sector. The cooperation of both organisations has been acknowledged in GWP’s new strategy document 2009-2013. In this document, GWP identified four main goals to address water-related challenges facing the world today. The strategic goals are to promote water as a key part of sustainable national development; address critical development challenges; reinforce knowledge sharing and communications; and build a more effective network. In carrying out the strategy, the GWP will work with many other actors, both local and international, to promote water as a key part of national development.

GWP is a not-for-profit action network with over 1,800 Partner organizations around the world. To read the full Strategy 2009-2013, go to the GWP website.
