Support for the Implementation of a Monitoring and Supervisory Committee in the Water Supply Sub-Sector in the District Mfou

Micro Grant (MG13), 2,000 EUR

The purpose of the project is to contribute to the improvement of the living conditions of the population of the community Mfou, by facilitating better access to good quality water. This will be achieved by creating a synergy between the different actors (government, civil society, local authorities, and communities) in order to facilitate transparency in the subsector of water distribution.

The Activities will include a workshop for exchanging knowledge of corruption and accountability issues with the above actors, in regards to the distribution and management of water resources. This will then approach the planning and formation of a committee for supervising and monitoring water distribution in Mfou. The committee will also be tasked with raising awareness of corruption in their respective communities in Mfou.
