Stockholm International Water Institute (Sweden)
Dr. Tropp is a founding member and current chair of the Water Integrity Network (WIN) and the chair of its International Steering Committee. Dr. Håkan Tropp is one of Sweden’s preeminant water governance experts. His work focuses on water governance issues and multi-disciplinary policy and development work related to sustainable development, with particular emphasis on water resources issues and their integration. In 2004, he joined SIWI as the director of the UNDP Water Governance Facility at SIWI, a demand driven programme that assists governments in water governance reform and improved implementation.

Shordt
Kathleen is one of the founders of WIN. She has more than 30 years of experience in international development, including initiating, managing, monitoring and evaluating water/sanitation programmes. She has worked and lived extensively in Asia and Africa. Kathleen believes strongly in the mandate of WIN to stimulate people and their institutions to ensure good governance and honesty in the water and sanitation sector-- serving all, and particularly those in greatest need.
Executive Secretary
Global Water Partnership
Dr. Ania Grobicki is the Executive Secretary of the Global Water Partnership. As a chemical engineer, researcher and consultant, Dr Grobicki was active in policy development (both for science & technology policy and for water policy) during the democratic transition in South Africa. In 2002 she became the first Co-ordinator of the CGIAR Challenge Programme on Water and Food, based at IWMI in Sri Lanka. Previous to her current position, Dr. Grobicki has worked extensively with various NGOs and UN agencies and is a prolific writer of publications on water-related issues (including two chapters for the 2nd World Water Development Report). At GWP she is focused upon the new strategy of building water security through addressing intersectoral development challenges including climate and food security, as well as continuing to build the GWP network of committed partner organizations.
Ravi demonstrates an extensive spectrum of skills and experience in the water sector, having worked both as an engineer and for the non-profit sector. He has worked as Asia Director for ActionAid and as Chief Executive of WaterAid. Currently, Mr. Narayanan is Vice Chair of the Asia Pacific Water Forum, International mentor to the Japan Water Forum and was a member of the UN Millennium Task Force on Water and Sanitation and a member of the World Panel on Financing Water Infrastructure.

Jack Moss is currently a senior advisor to AquaFed® – The International Federation of Private Water Operators. He holds an Honours Degree in Geography, and professional qualifications in construction project management. Mr Moss has 20 years of experience in the private sector side of the water services industry. This has taken him to work in water services development in many different situations and countries around the world. He is particularly interested in the commercial, institutional, human rights, regulatory and governance aspects of water supply and sanitation. Mr Moss has been a staff member of AquaFed® since the organisation was constituted on 2005. He is also an active member of the World Business Council for Sustainable Development's (WBCSD) water team, a member of the International Scientific and Programme committee for the World Water Week in Stockholm

O'Leary

Transparency International Secretariat
Donal O’Leary is currently responsible for leading water sector programs in Transparency International (TI); this includes representing TI on the Hydro Sustainability Assessment Forum – a multi-stakeholder initiative to develop a protocol to promote sustainable hydropower. He of the lead authors of the Global Corruption Report 2008, which will focused on the water sector as of the joint WBI-TI publication entitled ´Improving Transparency, Integrity and Accountability in Water Supply and Sanitation´. . He has worked with TI since July 2005 and currently represents TI on the International Steering Committee of the Water Integrity Network (WIN). Prior to this, Donal worked with the World Bank (1982-2005) as a task manager focusing on energy/hydropower projects in Africa and South Asia. During 1997-2002, Donal participated in the World Bank Staff Exchange Program, where inter alia he represented Siemens AG in the work of the World Commission on Dams (WCD).

Ogwezzy Melody Diobodo is the Chief Executive of Community Integrity Initiative; He is social engineer and awareness expert, with broad experience in development issues. He has been involved in the public and the private sector and hold broad experience working with NGOs. He developed and guided the implementation of health and sanitation strategies, conduct socio-economic surveys (WATSan Baseline) in EU-Small Towns Water Supply and Sanitation Programme and actively participated UNICEF - Knowledge, Attitude and Practice Survey (KAP), Nigeria. He holds Masters Degrees in Business Administration, Project Management and Development Studies.

Rural Water Supply and Sanitation Fund Development Board Nepal
Ramesh Kumar Sharma is presently Regional Manager in Rural Water Supply and Sanitation Fund Development Board Nepal, a World Bank funded program. He holds a MA in Sociology, Bachelor in Civil Engineering, Non Profit Sector Management Certificate from OU UK and Certificate in Architectural Engineering. He has 20 years of experience in Infrastructure, Water Sanitation, and NGO community partnership developmental works. While in RWSSFDB he volunteered to develop the WIN Nepal Network in the initial two year phase. He is actively involved with Nepal Engineering Associan, Society of Public Health Engineer Nepal and Nepal Red Cross Society. He has presented paper in Watsan, NGO Partnership, Gender and Anticorruption in Nepal and international conferences. He has oppurtunity to support each year delivery of 250 water schemes in hardship facing villages and work closely with the NGOs partnered to facilitate community in 74 districts of Nepal.
In October 2009, three new steering committee members were co-opted whilst John Butterworth stepped down from the steering committee.
The below call for elections gives an insight into the election process of the ISC in September 2008.
