The 5th World Water Forum, 2009 in Istanbul
This photo competition asked the question "What does Water Integrity mean to people and how can it be visualized?". The WINning photo, along with 9 short-listed photos were exhibited at the WIN stand during the World Water Week.
The annual Stockholm World Water Week is an important forum for the water sector because it brings together people working in different fields to discuss ongoing developments and share knowledge, information and ideas. Since its foundation in 2006, the Water Integrity Network (WIN) has made a continuous and solid effort to participate in the Week with a diverse set of events and discussions - determined to expose the negative impacts of corruption in the sector and with the objective to raise the profile of effective, clear and practical water integrity on the agenda of policy makers, civil society and the privates sector.
