Toward Achieving Water Security and Safely Managed Sanitation for Africa

The 7th Africa Water Week (AWW-7) will be convened 29 October – 2 November 2018 in Libreville (Gabon) under the auspices of the African Ministers’ Council on Water (AMCOW) in conjunction with the African Union Commis-sion and supported by several partners.

  • Attend our joint session, Beyond Political Declarations: What specific measures governments and stakeholders can put in place to ensure efficient use of financial allocations and infrastructures’ development in the sector, with AfDB and WIN on sub-theme 4 on Financing the SDGs
    • This session is about avenues to building trust and engagement through integrity, and about specific measures governments and stakeholders can put in place to attract more funding for investment as well as maintenance for water security and safely managed sanitation. It will explore the link between the building blocks political declarations, integrity, sustainability and funding for the SDG 6.
  • Join our side meeting with partners around communities of practice and collective action for water integrity and good governance in the sector.
